OF YOUNG CHILDREN

ABOUT US

The Canadian Children's Shelter of Hope Foundation was founded in March 2007. It is a registered, incorporated Canadian Charity that is run only by volunteers.

Our focus includes basic care, shelter, education, medical and dental needs for children and families in the Bay of Banderas. We are very concerned with working towards improving the lives of children and enhancing their future. Currently our main areas of focus are Pasitos de Luz, a daycare centre for children with severe disabilities and Casa Connor, the new home for Pasitos de Luz.

We also partner with other organizations within the area to aid community development.

HELP US IMPROVE LIVES

Every single donation positively impacts the lives of the children we care for.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide financial, material, and volunteer support to children and their families in the Bay of Banderas.

Our Projects

Education

We believe with knowledge, skill and confidence children can grow up to lead healthy, productive lives. Working with partner organizations we assist in removing obstacles and providing the tools for educational opportunities such as scholarships and tuition funds.

Healthcare

Providing access to healthcare for children is one of our key initiatives. This is especially important for the children at Pasitos de Luz who have significant physical challenges. Lack of treatment not only affects their physical growth and development it affects their cognitive and emotional development. We do our best to identify health problems and provide resources for treatment before a crisis is reached.

Community Partnership

We work very closely with many local organizations in the vicinity of The Bay of Banderas to help raise funds for their own projects and causes. All these organizations share a common goal with the CCSHF to improve the lives and the community of those who are less fortunate. Our strategic planning is based on the philosophy that communities benefit when organizations work together instead of competing for donations.
